My story and mission

I’m Laura Wellford Phillips, founder of Wellworded LLC. After more than a decade in nonprofit development—including five years as a development director—I know firsthand how fundraising demands can push grant writing to the bottom of a never-ending to-do list. For many, it's the most dreaded part of fundraising. But for me, it’s always been the most rewarding.

My mission is to take the stress out of grants for overworked nonprofit teams and the dedicated people driving their missions forward.
